Cheerise Circuits

Cheerise Circuits supports controlled impedance PCB projects for industrial electronics, prototypes, and production orders. Our published PCB capability covers controlled impedance to ±10% for mass production and ±5% for samples. Final capability, stack-up, and delivery timing are confirmed against the actual Gerber data and project requirements.

Controlled Impedance PCB Capability at a Glance

Item Mass production Sample / prototype
Controlled impedance ±10% ±5%
Maximum layer count 20 layers 38 layers
Minimum track width / space 3.5 mil / 3.5 mil 2.5 mil / 2.5 mil
Minimum drill size 0.20 mm 0.15 mm

These figures are a capability reference. The applicable tolerance depends on the impedance target, stack-up, material, copper weight, trace geometry, and manufacturing route.

What to Include in a Controlled Impedance PCB RFQ

Clear manufacturing inputs reduce quotation revisions and help confirm the correct build before production. Please provide:

  • Gerber RS-274X files and the required quantity
  • Layer stack-up, impedance targets, and any tolerance requirements
  • Material, board thickness, copper weight, and surface finish
  • Net list or controlled-impedance notes where available
  • Special process, inspection, packaging, or delivery requirements

For a combined PCB assembly project, include the BOM, pick-and-place file, assembly drawing, and test requirements as well.

How We Review a Controlled Impedance Project

Controlled impedance is a design-and-manufacturing requirement, not a generic checkbox. Before a project is released, the relevant stack-up and fabrication details should be reviewed against the target requirements. Cheerise Circuits confirms the feasible process route and expected schedule with the quotation, based on layer count, material availability, process complexity, and order quantity.

Quality and Inspection Support

Our quality process includes incoming material inspection, in-process checks during drilling, plating, etching, and solder mask, plus final electrical testing by flying probe or ICT where applicable. AOI and manual visual inspection support additional quality checks. The inspection plan is confirmed according to the project and acceptance requirements.

See our PCB quality and manufacturing capability page for the published capability table and process overview.

Frequently Asked Questions

What controlled impedance tolerance can Cheerise Circuits support?

Cheerise Circuits lists controlled impedance capability of ±10% for mass production and ±5% for samples. The applicable tolerance is confirmed for the actual project requirements.

What files are needed for a controlled impedance PCB quote?

Gerber RS-274X files, quantity, layer stack-up, impedance targets, material, board thickness, copper weight, surface finish, and special process notes are the most useful inputs. For PCBA, include the BOM, pick-and-place data, assembly drawing, and test requirements.

How is lead time confirmed?

Lead time is confirmed project by project based on layer count, material availability, process complexity, and order quantity. The estimated production schedule is provided with the quotation.
